News from Kindergarten...........

Today Kindergarten had an incursion from Kaleidoscope Science to help support our learning in our Science & Technology unit about Weather. Mitch came to talk to us about a variety of things and showed us some experiments which was so much fun. We learnt about the atmosphere and how air takes up space. We also saw how hot air rises through experiments using a glass bottle and a balloon. Mitch also invited many of our Kindergarten students to help support him with his experiments. Some new words that we learnt were expand, contract, atmosphere, liquid nitrogen.

Kaleidoscope Science would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of the lands on which we operate. Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people are the first scientists and story tellers of this land. We pay respects to elders past, present and emerging.
